We have been a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Contractor since the mid-1970s, registered with the U.S. Government’s Business Partner Network and the System for Award Management (SAM) under CAGE Code 56540. AAMSI is headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, operating out of 52,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing, repair, and operations space. During more than sixty years of service to our customers, AAMSI has established a solid reputation for quality, on-time delivery, and competitive pricing.

ITAR Registered

AAMSI is International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) registered, granting us the right to manufacture, repair and transact qualified military products for export. Companies receiving this certification demonstrate they have the knowledge and understanding to fully comply with the Arms Export Control Act (AECA) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations, as well as having corporate procedures and controls in place to ensure compliance. Meeting ITAR Certification distinguishes AAMSI as an organization who meets (or exceeds) requirements pertaining to organization structure, documentation, corporate policy, training and procedures.

AAMSI’s understanding of the critical role of export compliance is demonstrated by our exemplary record and excellent compliance rating. Our staff is well-versed in all areas of export compliance, and has played an integral role in AAMSI’s DDTC approvals for multiple Blanket and Individual export licenses covering a variety of platforms for customers in over 40 countries. AAMSI holds nearly two dozen Blanket export licenses and fifty Individual export licenses on a continuing basis.

Our ITAR staff can assist in devising an export license strategy and preparing a draft Blanket or Individual export license. AAMSI is a long-time registered supplier to the PROS V program.
